OUR TEAM
Commercial Vehicle Compliance brings together experienced AVEs and VASS Signatories, senior vehicle compliance knowledge, mechanical engineering, CAD and technical analysis, and a dedicated operations team. Together, we support clients from the first enquiry and inspection through engineering documentation, technical review and final approval.
For manufacturers, body builders, modifiers, fleets and vehicle owners, that means practical engineering judgement, clearer communication, stronger records and greater capacity across a broad range of modified vehicles.

Darren Ludecke
Managing Director | AVE | VASS Signatory
Darren is the founder and Managing Director of Commercial Vehicle Compliance. His career was built from a practical understanding of how vehicles are constructed, modified, operated and assessed for compliance, beginning with hands-on work as a motor body builder before moving into vehicle certification.
As an AVE and VASS Signatory, Darren works with manufacturers, body builders, modifiers and fleet operators across light and heavy vehicle projects, including body installations, chassis and wheelbase modifications, seating, wheelchair-accessible vehicles, buses, motorhomes, trailers and specialist vehicles. He remains closely involved in technical decisions, inspections, client relationships and CVC’s final certification oversight.
Kim Nguyen
Senior Mechanical Engineer | Vehicle Compliance & Homologation
Kim brings more than three decades of automotive engineering, vehicle regulation, certification and homologation experience. At CVC he supports senior technical review, compliance strategy and the assessment of drawings, test reports, supplier evidence and approval documentation for complex light and heavy vehicle projects.
James Rewse
Mechanical Engineer | Vehicle Design & Compliance
James brings practical product-development and testing experience to CVC, including 3D CAD, fabricated product design, engineering drawings, validation and manufacturing support. His background includes frontal protection systems, ADR 69-related testing, vehicle radar, adaptive cruise control and emergency braking system integration.
Srivathsan Kannan
Senior Mechanical Engineer | VASS Signatory & Heavy Vehicle Compliance
Sri is an Approved Vehicle Examiner and VASS Signatory with experience across heavy vehicle inspections, ADR/VSB6 compliance, braking systems, calculations and certification evidence. His background includes heavy trailer braking, TEBS/ABS commissioning, OEM production planning and homologation.

Michelle supports client communication, compliance coordination, documentation and administration. Her mechanical engineering background strengthens the technical understanding behind day-to-day customer and certification support.
Reden Pagal, RMEE
Mechanical Engineer | CAD & Engineering Support | VASS Associate
Reden supports SolidWorks modelling, drawings, calculations, engineering analysis, technical documentation and VASS processing. He also develops practical automation tools that improve engineering workflows and quality assurance.
Joshua Sarabosing, RME
Mechanical Engineer | FEA, Calculations & Technical Tools
Joshua forms part of CVC’s SolidWorks and FEA capability. He supports structural analysis, detailed engineering calculations, hydraulic-system assessment and technical evidence, and develops repeatable engineering tools for complex commercial-vehicle modifications.
Eiffel Amancio
Mechanical Engineer | Vehicle Compliance & Homologation
Eiffel supports CVC’s vehicle compliance and certification work, including VASS processing and technical documentation. Under senior compliance guidance, he is developing capability across ADRs, ROVER, Vehicle Type Approval and Second Stage Manufacture.

We establish the vehicle and modification scope, gather the information needed for an effective inspection, assess the vehicle against the relevant requirements, prepare and review drawings, calculations and supporting evidence, and complete the final certification decision through the appropriately authorised signatory.
