Van Modifications
Vans can undergo modifications to create a variety of purposed designed vehicles from ambulances, campervans, mobile workstations and many others. Contact us if you are modifying a van and need a modification certificate from an Approved Vehicle Examiner.
Motorhome Modifications
Have you even thought about converting a bus into a motorhome? Creating something to your own design and layout requirements? We can help you. CVC can provide modification approvals for motorhomes.
Wheelchair
There are different requirements regarding the installation of wheelchair loaders and the restraint systems used. A VASS certificate must be presented to show that a modified WAT has met the relevant standards for registration. Ensure you use an Approved Vehicle Examiner.
Seating Modifications
From time to time additional seats are fitted to vans and/or buses. The modification in seating capacity may result in the need of a Signatory approval certificate from the Vehicle Assessment Signatory Scheme (VASS).
Truck Modifications
We can provide Approval Certificates for many common truck modifications. Nearly all heavy trucks start out life as Cab chassis vehicles. From here they are then designed and fitted with the body application suitable to the intended use.
Bus Modifications
Every 12 months Buses must undergo an annual Bus Safety Inspection carried out by a licensed vehicle inspector. This is to satisfy a level of safety and standards. Bus modifications require an Approval Certificate from an Approved Vehicle Examiner.
