Commercial Vehicle Engineering for Body Builders & Manufacturers
Commercial Vehicle Compliance (CVC) supports Victorian body builders, manufacturers, dealers and vehicle modifiers with engineering assessment, VASS certification and compliance planning for commercial vehicle projects. Our role is to help identify the approval pathway early, review the proposed design, complete the required engineering work and provide a clear route to final certification.
Support before fabrication
Many compliance problems are created before a vehicle reaches inspection. CVC can review a proposed body, chassis or equipment installation before fabrication begins so issues such as axle loads, wheelbase, rear overhang, body mounting, structural loads, clearances and approval evidence can be addressed while the design is still easy to change.

Engineering evidence

Depending on the modification, CVC may prepare or review drawings, calculations, axle-load reports, material information, structural assessments, finite element analysis (FEA), inspection evidence and other technical documentation required to support the approval.
VASS and repeat-build support
For Victorian projects, CVC provides VASS engineering and certification across applicable light and heavy vehicle modifications. For repeat-build work, we can also help body builders standardise the information, drawings and evidence used across a vehicle configuration so future jobs can be processed more consistently.
